I love sitting around and fantasizing…
Which is why I buy lottery tickets, of course. Where did your mind just go?
There is seriously nothing better than picking up a lottery ticket and immediately figuring out where you will be spending your prize. There is the money that will go to family and friends (yep, I mean you!), what you will save, what you will buy, where your first vacation will be… LOL. It never ends. It’s good for a solid half hour of smiling to yourself and imagining what you would do when you realized you won.
There are so many decisions on how to pick out your lottery ticket. Will you have more luck picking your own numbers? Doing an auto pick? Where should you buy the ticket? Everyone knows that they usually win from obscure gas stations up in Bakersfield! I however picked mine up from Pavilions today. I just couldn’t help it. Hubby thinks buying lottery tickets is ridiculous, so shhhh, it’s just between you and me, interwebz!
I had a hard time with my favorite numbers today. I think I fudged them up a bit and didn’t get my mega number right. Boo! I did one auto pick and one hand pick. My favorite numbers were filled with the birth-dates of my family and my favorite number. My mega number is 24 and I think that’s lame now, I really don’t know why I picked that. I felt like it was lucky at that particular moment. I really need to settle on my ‘ favorite’ lottery numbers for the future!
It’s actually been a very long time since I have purchased a lottery ticket but I was just thinking about it today so I decided to splurge. The reason why I was thinking about the lottery is because I have been toying with putting that idea into my (currently nonexistent) book. One of my favorite books is where the woman won the lottery and the first part of the whole book is going on a shopping spree with her daughter and I just loved reading about it.
You can’t win the lottery if you don’t buy a ticket. So I bought a ticket.
Anyone here buy a ticket regularly? Or only when the jackpot goes super high?

Awww…. what would I do if I won the lottery? I really need to start buying tickets because just the fantasy of it all is so good for the brain. HEHEHE. I only buy when the jackpot is super high… but after reading your post, I think I need to buy more often!

My mom buys a ticket twice a week no matter what for as long as I can remember. lol. I think the most she has ever won was $100.00. I buy a ticket only when the jacket pot gets to like 70 million or higher. I only buy from 7-11 too. When I lived in Orange every 7-11 around me (within 10 miles) had had a major winner. So, so far I have not won anything. lol. Also I have only done the auto pick. I have never picked out my own numbers.
