I texed with Krysta a tiny bit today (feeling SLIGHTLY guilty as I was bothering the new Mommy…) but she is feeling great and the girls are great! She said they got back from the pediatrition and the girls are perfect. Swimming in their newborn outfits. And nursing is going great! So happy to hear! I picked up the cutest outfits (newborn size) as they might be in them for awhile. I figured what a great excuse to drop by with presents. 😉 Although I might just drop them on their doorstep and wait until after Thanksgiving to start harrasing for face time. I want to hoooolllllldddd them! I didn’t even touch them at all while we were at the hospital, I didn’t want to get in the way of family. Waaaa! heehee
Ok, enough.
I think Sunday I REALLY felt preggo for the first time. We went to Disneyland in the morning and my sciatica was hurting SO BAD. Then, we went on this toon town ride? Never been on it. OMG, it jerks you around, I was feeling really happy that tummy bar wasn’t closer to me. I felt really old and pregnant getting off that ride.
Monday, I got SO much stuff done around the house in about two hours in the morning. Cleaned up the halloween decorations, cleaned other stuff, cleaned out some boxes from the garage, I forget what else I did… Anyway, I was so crampy after that. And I got the worst headache. And just felt… preggo. Ugh. 🙂 I was so tired when Sam went down for her nap I just collapsed and at some point, it felt like I had been asleep for 10 min she started whining/crying and I just ignored her!! LOL! It was tired ones, it must have been about an hour later, but I was like, if she is ready to get up she will get louder. haha! And then she fell back asleep, thank gawd. We woke up later around 4:30, I think it was almost a 3 hour nap. Maybe 2 1/2. Still though, I felt great! Except for the fact she woke up PIST and did NOT get out of her bad mood. Justin is gone this week (well, leaving tomorrow) and was really looking forward to having fun with her that night! She totally was evil! So my headache came back. J was going to take her to get frozen yogurt and finally did anyway (I went with to get a smoothie – not realizing most smoothies are made with DAIRY, grr – I found a sherbert one though – figured that was better) and she was really happy after that. Sheesh.
Today was a good day though. We went to see Gymbo (Gymboree – or BoBo to Sam) and the library, and out to breakfast. Nice nap and then out to pizza at night since Poker night is early this week. She gave me a heart attack though as she ran around to the back of the pizza parlor where their are games but there was about 20 kids in the place (usually when we go its deserted) and I couldn’t find her for a minute! Whew, took me a long time to calm down. 🙂
I’m so excited too, I FINALLY got rid of Justin’s huge entertainment center that is sitting in Sam’s new room. I kept telling Justin to ask his poker buddies if they wanted it, since I figured they would be easier to harrass to get rid of it… and I finally just made a flyer and stuck it on the wall and it was claimed in 5 min! Yea! I told him I wanted it gone by Thanksgiving weekend, NEXT WEEK! YES!! I have a bookcase, desk, and nightstand thingie to get rid of now. All 20-25 years old in dark dark wood. I’m going to call it a refurbisher’s dream… 🙂 Actually the bookcase isn’t that bad. The desk is for a kid, you need a tiny(er) chair for it. Oh well. Maybe it’s not that tiny. Anyone want it? I supposed I should post pictures. Let me know if you are interested! It’s FREE! You just have to cart it down from our second story.. heehee – The entertainment center seriously needs about 4 heavy guys. Our movers were so pist when they moved it in. I don’t know why we kept it then. I’m putting the three things below on CraigsList on Monday, let me know if anyone is interested or wants the measurements!
So once that stuff is GONE.. the room will be EMPTY! Almost empty, I still need to move the precore downstairs. Sheesh, talk about a junk room. 🙂 Then I need to paint it and get Sam’s furniture in! Have to buy it first!
Here is a picture of the layout of Sam’s room. Isn’t it wacky? The window makes things really weird as well as the closet. Takes up those two walls in a really odd way. So the bed can only go in one spot since it’s about 80in long. I think a small nightstand next to it and then maybe a tall chest of drawers to the left. Then, the cute cubbyholes either on the 65in wall or the 73in wall next to the closet. Then we can move some of her toys to her room out of the living room! Yea! I need to paint that room too. So many things to do. Not to mention her birthday is in 3 weeks and I haven’t DONE anything. Hmm. To bad we can’t have it in June. 🙂 heehee
