Hello Monday!

It’s a new week, someone just reminded me! I just read this quick roundup by Angry Julie and loved it. My pictures are on my phone, my phone is on my desk, I’m on my computer… The task of moving everything around is exhausting. 🙂

However… HELLO MONDAY!

I feel like I’m whistling the Jeopardy tune for several things in my life right now. Hurry the heck up, already!

Mother’s Day was wonderful. Our plans changed last minute so it was relaxing AND I got to see Iron Man.

Which, I drove the husband crazy because… the bad guy looked EXACTLY like Val Kilmer from the Saint. Seriously. Except I called him Brad Pitt to the husband. Whatever. Aren’t they the same? Almost? “I’m your huckleberry!”

So the bad guy had the same long curly hair, with buck teeth that Kilmer played in the Saint. Exactly when they were trying to be nerds. Then they had the same fluffy hair when they were big, bad guys. How freaking annoying? I was annoyed. I felt like they should have just put Val Kilmer in there!

Except Val Kilmer isn’t a hottie anymore. I think. I mean, he could be, but last I saw, he gained a few pounds. (Not that there is anything wrong with that…)

While Iron Man was funny and I love me some Robert Downey Jr, there was too much blowing stuff up. The first one was the best. It was the perfect mixture of witty one liners, great eye candy, and awesome technology. But when you blow up his totally cool house and give us broken parts the whole movie, where is the cool stuff?

Although, Gwen’s abs were amazing…

Then we just hung out with my Mama and watched the kids swim. We were going to get in and swim but it didn’t happen.

Can I just say that age 7 is completely awful? It’s like the teens hit, and they are here to stay. The eye rolling.. the sass…
