Our last Dr appointment of the week. Since it is Friday, I’m pretty glad about that.

It was a pretty quick appointment. I guess I was glad for that. 🙂 I’m super tired today from G not sleeping well the past three nights. I haven’t talked about his sleep much lately because it was going well (one time a night waking!) but the past three nights… meh. I can tell you I’m probably going to be a mean mommy tonight to get back on track!
Since she is three, they weighed her on the big scale, she stood up to get her height checked, and they actually took her blood pressure! She thought it was all super cool.She is 50% in both height and weight so that is good. Even though she eats like a bird, she eats enough!
The Dr breezed in and asked her tons of funny questions and she answered them all!
Do you know your colors? He asked her to identify a few. She got them all
Who are your friends? Kaylee
Can you wiggle your thumb? She tried her finger first, but then she got it.
Can you put on a tshirt by yourself? Um no, Momma dresses her everyday!
Can you brush your teeth? Well she can, but it’s freaking easier if I do it 🙂
Can you hop? She jumped all over the room!
What is your favorite food? Pancakes (um, maybe cause she just ate one…
What is your favorite fruit? Pineapple
What is your favorite vegetable? Carrots
NO shots for her! And she doesn’t go back until Kindergarten! Crazy.
Griff’s was also pretty quick. He is in the 50% for weight and the 75% for height. His head is in the 90% though! I just checked and he was in the 85% at six months. Poor kid. LOL
He can stand, pull himself up to a standing position, take steps around the things he’s standing by, and balance for a few seconds.
He can’t wave or do any other tricks though. The Dr said he was normal and fine though – even if I want him to do tricks… LOL – I think he is trying to wave lately. We are working on it.
And he DID thing it was ‘strange’ that he won’t pick up food and eat it. He will pick it up. He won’t eat it though.
He will, however, pick up and eat paper, wires, Kleenex, etc. I guess he wants me to be his personal feeding slave?? Blah.
