Happy Birthday, Sammie!

It’s Sammie’s THIRD BIRTHDAY today! I can’t believe my baby is 3.  She is so adult now but I have to catch myself remembering that she is still a baby.  My baby!

She has huge conversations with us, wants to always know what we are talking about, is starting to tell jokes, and always saying new words now! She is so sweet to her brother and everyone else.  Her manners are wonderful when we are out and about but I have to remind her when she is just with us at home.

We woke her up this morning singing Happy Birthday to her. She was still tired and ignored us, even when I pulled her in my arms and rubbed her back. LOL – When Papa told her we had presents for her, she reached out with one hand to blindly grab the presents without uncovering her eyes (with her other hand) and snatched them right up! haha!

Sadly, the morning was a LITTLE to much for her because with all these new words she is spouting off, she is getting a little attitude and was ordering me around this morning.  “Go away, go home!” “Get my clothes!” “I don’t wanna…!” At which point I carried her over to time out and she started yelling that she would be nice. 🙂 Ahhh… And then she just cried and said ‘I’m TIRED’ which is her excuse nowadays when she does bad things.  “I’m TIRED” so I’m just going to cry and whine allllll day. 🙂

Oh well. She snapped out of it and we went out to the Pancake House and got hot chocolate, french toast, and eggs! YUM!

We gave her the LeapFrog Tag system and it is SO COOL. She loves it so far.  That system is pretty amazing.  I can’t wait to go play with it more.

We are waiting for G to wake up… which probably won’t be for another two hours 🙂 And then I need to get Sam to bed early today because we are going to Disneyland tonight!! I hope the wind dies down!

Anyway. I told Sam I was hers today, so it’s time to play Little People with her new School House and Dance n Twirl Palace. 🙂  I get to be Princess Buttercup today!
