Well, I left and got dinner and ate it while getting my toes done. Yay 🙂 Sammie was much happier with Papa. I stopped to say hi while they were at the park and apparently she was a little upset after I left. Whoops. Oh well.
When they came back she was still in a good mood though. Then Papa left to go play poker while I put her to bed. She was an absolute angel of course. Through the diaper change, bedtime story, etc. Strange child. 🙂
So I spent the evening doing work and then wrapping Krysta & Brett’s present for Charlotte & Raechelle! Yea!! I’m uploading a picture of it to show you because a) Krysta already guessed I got her what I got her from her registery and b) most of the gift is tucked away inside.
Isn’t it beautimus? Yes, obviously it’s a KRISTI wrapping job. But I am very proud of it!! I found this clear plastic SHRINKING stuff that I wrapped it around while putting tissue paper around everything else. I decided not to wrap anything inside because unwrapping each gift would be such a major pain in the butt while surrounded by all your adoring family waiting to see each gift. 🙂
So anyway, I know this shrinking stuff is nothing new (to you) but to me, it’s so cool! You blow dry it to make it ‘cling’ to everything and it really shrinks! I actually think it looked a bit prettier without it being shrunken but at least it’s all clingy and nothing is going to fall out. Even though I wrapped it both ways so there is probably no chance of anything falling out. 🙂 And I put the bow on off to the side but now looking at it, it would probably look better straight on. Oh well.
I’m still very proud of my wrapping job. LOL
