4+ Days

Yesterday was much better as I got out of the house, yay. My mood definitely improved towards the end of the day. Sam and I went to Target where I got a few last things and I bought her a cute little ball that we took to the park to play with. Then we went to In&Out, yum. 🙂 LOL

She was kind of being a little devil all day during the times we were at home though. I swear, when both J and I are home she turns into a little crazy girl and plays us both together. We need to get our discipline act together. For example, if I start to change her diaper and she sees J, she SCREAMS that she wants PAPA to DO IT. PAPA PAPA PAPA. And then it turns into this whole big THING where we are appeasing her and switching off on whatever she wants us to do (and it always changes) and then it just feels like we totally got played. LOL – Of course, when I’m mean and just muscle her down after asking her three times to calm down, that feels worse.

Of course when J is NOT around, while she is not an angel at diaper changing times, she behaves cause she knows I mean business. 🙂 And J can also get her to cooperate when he is alone, I believe.

So that can get super annoying. She does the same thing with Grandma (except its worse) and it drives me up a WALL to hear the whining. For things like eating and playing, gah. I can’t figure out if it’s because we let her do what she wants or aren’t firm enough with telling her what’s going on when there is another person around?

Anyway, the weekends used to be sooo annoying with getting her ready. I’ve finally just taken her clothes downstairs to change her while J is still asleep instead of waiting until I get ready later. We don’t get her whole lotion routine in the morning but I can usually do it in the late morning or around lunch time, and nothing to bad has happened with her skin.

J still feels sick. He keeps saying, one more day. Well, you’ve been sick for a week, honey, I’m getting sick of keeping this baby in ‘one more day’. hahahha

I’m also starting to wonder why I made sure I had all these newborn clothes that we NEEDED last time and that I was completely assured that we would need THIS time. Ugh. At least if I don’t go today I will have Dr Fee to deliver.
