My baby turned four a few weeks ago! I can’t believe how old she is. She suddenly seems so much more grown up. She can write her name, tell jokes, do some addition, has lots of different friends, and is such a sweet and helpful girl.
She had a week full of parties and birthday fun times and I think she loved it all. I couldn’t resist buying her this fru-fru outfit which some people have called a goth Madonna look, ha! Which, yes maybe it is but really, is there anything WRONG with that? I don’t have any great pictures of her smiling in the whole thing but this one is cute enough 🙂
Everyone was so very nice and thoughtful to get her something to celebrate her birthday and she was so grateful. We played the ‘present game’ before her birthday where we would give each other crazy gifts and say thank you. When she would get gifts, without any prompting, she would make sure she knew what the card said and who it was from and then thank them VERY nicely. It was so sweet.
For her birthday we got her a watch, the newest Christmas Fancy Nancy book (which she is already calling yummy foods at home ‘delectable’), and a keyboard. She has lots of fun playing the drums and jingle bells. It’s amazing what those pianos can do nowadays!
Happy Birthday to my sweet baby, who is no longer my baby (she tells me). I keep telling her she will always be my baby!
