What an amazing night! I was glued to the TV all night long with the company of Sam and G and my Twitter friends 🙂 J finally came home at the tail end of McCain’s speech and we watched the rest of the festivities.
Wasn’t that amazing? I had chills watching the people celebrate all over the country and Obama’s speech was wonderful too. He was so subdued, he looked ready to go to work. And we need that. I can’t wait.
I feel so excited right now, ready to shout out to everyone! And I think everyone feels the same way with all the texts I’ve been receiving and watching all of my twitter friends ‘tweet’ about it. haha
On a fashion note, I think a few people agreed with me that Michelle’s dress was a big NO. Eek! But his girls looked so sweet. I bet they were excited to hear they were getting a new puppy! I was still so sad that his Grandma is gone. She missed this night and that is so sad.
Thanks for everyone posting, commenting, and emailing me your pictures and that you voted! That was so fun! I need to update all my new pictures tomorrow.
As for now, goodnight. Tomorrow I will run around crazy packing for my trip to Oregon… just the kids and I in an airplane. Yikes. It shouldn’t be that bad. Luckily every time I have gone to the airport (with Sam at least) I always have such nice people willing to help me through the security line or play peekaboo.

YES WE CAN!!! It was inspriational to say the least! I had meant to text you a pic of me with my vote sticker, but mommy brain and I forgot to send it to you. But I did in fact vote and I just like you couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Now we just need a definite No on prop 8 and I will feel better!
I wish I could feel as excited as you… but we still have a LONG way to go to get to a better place.
