I got sucked in by a blog I frequently read, Babble.com, when they started talking about a Juicy Baby sale where it was 50%-70% off some cute stuff starting tomorrow and going for the next few days. They said it was a Members Only site and you had to be referred by a member and to email them for an invite, that they were oooh, so nice to give them out, no problemo.
So I did. LOL
Gilt.com looks to be a crafty sort of site, crafty (not meaning Etsy) but pretty good marketing strategy to get people to come in. Apparently, you can only get in by referral (you can’t even browse their website without being referred), but the people doing the referrals are getting credit ($$$) if you sign up and then purchase something!
Babble did not say this in their blog, which I was rolling my eyes at. I usually like to know if someone is getting a kickback, LOL, and they may be getting a kickback from me cause some of these things look REALLY nice… and there is a brand in there that i know my Mom & Dad wear so that might be a good Christmas present, who knows! LOL We shall see though.
Anyway, I looked and ummmmmm, they have all sorts of HIGH FASHION named brands (Juicy, Alphabet, Temperly London, Twenty8Twelve, Valentino, Diesel, and more) where they have sales for a few days with items that are QUITE marked down, in most cases about 50% – 70%. I think they get different ones all the time. The sales are only for 36 hours.
The Baby Juicy starts tomorrow, as do a few others, and eek! I know a few people who like Juicy 🙂 They just do a screenshot of what is in their sale, so it’s hard to tell what EXACTLY it is. But there is a cute blue tracksuit that will be going up, at least.
If anyone wants to browse the site, you can sign up under my referral link – if you buy, I will get credit. But this is not CHEAP sales, let me warn you again. These are high fashion, extremely expensive stuff, but always fun to look at, right?
If you are interested in Babble, here is their site. I like reading some of their blogs!
