Uneventful doctor appointment! 🙂 She didn’t strip my membranes, probably because a) I was only halfway effaced still, b) he hasn’t dropped down all the way (only half), and c) I’m SUCH a baby whatever she WAS doing, I was like EEK!
I’m 50% effaced and 1 1/2 to 2 dilated though. So good progress. She said we don’t have to talk about induction yet. I said, there is no hurry! Sheesh! But she said I would have an appt next week (27th) and then an early appt the week after (the 1st I presume) and then she would want to talk inducution if my cervix is favorable. Again, I was like, I’m not in any hurry! And then she went blah blah blah about 2nd mom’s after vaginal births having favorable cervixs for induction. *sigh* Why do most Drs want to get these babies out? Everything is great, he is small, there is no hurry!
He will come when he is ready. I still have ‘my’ date in mind so I will probably get a little antsy after that but at least it was nice to know there was a little progress. And I’m happy (even though I kind of wanted it) that I didn’t get my membranes stripped because I know it would have hurt! heehee!

I can’t believe Samantha is so close to being a big sister! I can’t wait to see the new little one!

Hi Kristi,
Looking forward to reading your birthing blogs, and to how you’re doing with a newborn and a little girl.
