I hope everyone is enjoying their first day of 2008!
I have no round-up or resolutions to talk about. I only have to laugh as last night Justin and I decided that when Sam woke up we would not give her a bottle, no Elmo, no stories, we would get her to go BACK TO BED. It was time to lay down the law.
Of course she slept until 6am. And I let her whine to herself for another half hour cause that was a little to early for me. When I went in (as she was saying Papa, Mama, Papa, Mama) she was still wrapped up like a little sausage in her blankets. hehe – Usually she has kicked them all off. Funny.
Hopefully a nice start, yes? 🙂

Happy New Year! The bed thing seems easier than I expected but it’s not perfect. The first night we woke up 3 times and the second, I actually rocked him in the old rocker and then put him in the bed. He only woke up once that night… Then we didn’t stay home last night so we’ll see how the nap goes today… I sure wish this stuff was easier! And for your sake, I hope Sam is just going through a phase, you need your rest!

I know this is a tried and true subject, but the bed thing is so hard. I am going to do a BabyCenter post on it at some point. Let me know if I can refer to your bed time successes and failures (or anyone else reading this that wants to chime in.) I’ll check back later. And congrats on making headway.
