Hmm… Drew tagged me for one of those delicious blogger games that makes you reveal all of your secrets!!! Muhahaha!
Although I’m sorry to say I’m completely worthless at telling secrets on demand. Telling secrets anytime and all the time is usually my problem. 🙂 Cause I’m such a blabbermouth! No, really, I am. Haven’t you been reading my long lengthy crazy posts? But thinking of ‘fun’ and ‘exciting’ things that people ‘don’t’ know about to share? Hmm… I just think of really LAME stuff. Or read everyone else’s secrets and go, Oh yea, I like that too!
But you did ask…
1) I love to read. I know, I know, most of you KNEW that already. But I REALLY love to read. I read at red lights in the car, while I’m getting gas, and the reason why I always buy a big purse? Well, it has to fit my books in it… When I was younger my Dad’s second wife’s sister’s boyfriend (did you get that?) called me depressed cause I would read at family gatherings and not talk to him (or anyone). (He was crazy though – why would I want to talk to him?) The really funny thing is that I had a reading problem in first and second grade. Yep, I couldn’t read! I was in the lowest reading group! I remember my Mom working with me on vocabulary (I never could get ‘of’ and ‘off’ right) for Ms McDonald’s 2nd grade class and during that year I moved up to the highest level. Ever since then… well… Lately I’m working my way through the Anita Blake Vampire Novels by Laurel K Hamilton. I mostly read romance although contemporary fiction (chick-lit) is tons of fun and some mysteries will catch my attention. I probably have over 2,000 books in my library. I gave a lot away this year though. It’s open for checkout to anyone as long as you return them within the year. 🙂 No library card needed!
2) I love reading celebrity blogs. They are a fun guilty pleasure to see the cute pictures and snarky comments. That is kind of like the above comment though… So as a bonus, I’ll tell you that I can’t wait for flying cars to go mainstream!!! I know they have prototypes out of flying cars… I can’t wait to have them. I know they are in our future. Driving on roads is so boring. You know what would be better though? Invisible flying cars.
3) With being preggo for the second time, I can’t figure out if I’m completely excited…. or completely FREAKED OUT by having a second little one running around! I know it will all work out but I worry about what Sam will think, how she will adjust, how I can love someone else more than Sam?? I know, I know, it all changes when the baby comes. I KNOW all that. Bleah.
4) I love computer/cell phone card games. I used to be addicted to Free Cell. My computer here at home used to be my office computer and when it was first installed they took off the games. (A blessing in disguise, I tell you!) So I really don’t play it anymore… But I had an over 86% win percentage and I would get pist when people would play (and lose – and not replay the same game to try and win) so it would screw up my stats. 🙂 Spider is also lots of fun, that is a form of solitaire. On my old cell phone there was the best bubble game and it kept high scores. My high score was 1,870 and when Justin would play when we were waiting for a movie to start, he would get somewhere around 500. (He only played once in awhile, but still! My high score was really high! LOL). My iPhone did NOT come with games installed, I was shocked. You can go to the Internet and play but it doesn’t keep track of your score, so what’s the point? 🙂
5) I love my new iPhone! I’m so attached to my cell phone because it gives me access to my EMAIL!! I have 3 email accounts and am constantly checking to see what comes in. I also love the updated stock quotes, weather forecast, and iTunes!! If I was stuck on an Island the one thing I would have to have with me is my iPhone with a satellite Internet connection.
6) I believe a vacation is not a vacation unless you have at least one full day to sit on a beach (or by a pool) and have drinks delivered to you while you do absolutely nothing.
7) I depend on spell check way to much. If you knew what these posts would look like without my Google Toolbar Spellcheck function, you would wonder about the edumacation (that was on purpose!) of the writer! If I forget to use it sometimes, I apologize! I can not think unless I have a computer in front of me, even though I can’t spell. My thoughts are better organized as they flow from my brain, to my fingers, and through the keyboard. Also, Sam is going to be one of those people who will see someone writing with a pencil in the future, watch them use the eraser, and ask ‘What is that? … I thought that’s what the delete button is used for!’ Computers rule!
8) I can’t cook. We eat takeout every night. I have all the local restaurants programmed into my phone and Justin calls me every night and has me order while he goes to pick it up. The closest thing to ‘cooking’ we do is picking up a rotisserie chicken from the store and microwaving cornbread. 🙂
See, these weren’t exactly JUICY secrets… and I’m sure I will think of a few good ones after I hit ‘Post’. 🙂 Unfortunately, you are stuck with these!
I tag…
Krysta and the Monkey Twins – Cause she’s hot, tired, and cranky and needs to blog about something before her bundles of joy get here. 🙂
Brooke – No update for a month? I know you are reading this, girl! You have time to read, you have time to write!
Paige – It’s your baby site too but you can do a personal post, can’t ya? 🙂
Jamie – You were already tagged by Drew, but I needed one more. 🙂 LOL
Anna – Our latest preggo! The list is growing!
