It’s starting!
Yesterday I actually had to undo my pants and zip them down a little!!! I felt so much relief from that, it was crazy. It’s worse in the afternoons. All day in the house, my pants were unbuttoned. Until, finally, I realized I should just change into leggings. Sheesh. Ahhh!
Anything near my tummy is driving me crazy. It either has to be below or above otherwise I’m fidgety. I also was reading through my last preggo journal and realizing how uncomfortable and miserable I was at the very end. I am sooo not looking forward to that!! Icky and bleah with a toddler! I guess it happens all the time so I’m gonna survive. Somehow.
The good news is I feel great today. No milk… I felt like I had a (little) more energy and no icky feelings. Soooo nice! I hope I found the cure!
Yesterday we went to Disneyland and California Adventures. It was so hot. It was worse than hot. It was melting. At 10am in the morning. Ick. We went on the Carousel (with no crying!) and the teacups. Then walked over to CA and went to Bug’s Land. Eh. I really don’t like CA that much. It’s to spread out, not really and fun rides. There was a great water fountain but if water so much as looks at Sam, excema starts and her skin gets irritated.
The Playhouse Disney show was cute though. Sam was waving her hands around and wiggling to all the dancing animals. We left at 1pm and she actually fell asleep in the car this time. Fergie’s Big Girls song came on, and she really likes that song, so we turned it on loud and two minutes later she was asleep.
Today Justin had to work so I went down to meet Nicole at David’s Bridal to try on shoes. Jamie and her son Aiden (two months older) and Jen with her son Seppie (1 year) were there as well. D.B. ended up opening at noon instead of 10 so we hung out by the fountain (see, that water vs. skin problem is really annoying during summer! Poor Sammie) and snacked and played around. It was tons of fun! Sam loved playing with the boys and running around with them. Once we got to D.B. all the kids were a little tired but they went CRAZY for all the mirrors, platforms, and corners everywhere. It was hilarious. Aiden was so cute, feeding Sam his grapes. He would walk over and pop one in her mouth. Sam loved giving Aiden hugs. Everytime we would ask her, she would run over and hug him, and then look at me and say ‘More!’! LOL – Seppie just learned to walk and was giggling and loving life and freedom. His first birthday is next week! Jamie got the cutest picture, I think, of all three of them sitting on a platform at D.B. and they were actually all looking at the camera and happy. I can’t wait to see it!
On the way home, Sam fell asleep in the car…. and it was to Fergie’s Big Girls again! I now have the magic secret to car sleeping… I will have to try that tomorrow on the way to Grandma’s house.
